FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How to download Google Pay statement PDF on mobile?

Open the Google Pay app → scroll down and tap "Show transaction history" → tap the Download icon (downward arrow at top right) → select your date range (up to 1 year) → tap Download. The PDF saves directly to your phone. Then upload it to this free analyzer to see your spending charts instantly.

Can I download GPay statement as Excel?

Google Pay personal does not export directly to Excel — it only gives a PDF. However, you can upload that PDF here and use the Export Excel Report button to download a color-coded .xlsx file with Summary, Daily, and Monthly sheets. Google Pay for Business merchants can export a CSV directly from the app, which also opens in Excel.

Is my financial data safe? Do you store my statement?

Yes, your data is 100% secure. This tool operates completely in your web browser. When you upload your statement, it is processed locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your PDF files, transaction history, or personal data on any servers.

Do I need to link my bank account or Google Pay app?

No. We never ask for your login credentials, API access, or bank account linking. You simply download your own PDF statement directly from Google Pay and select it here to generate your charts.

How do I download my Google Pay transaction statement?

It's easy! Just open your Google Pay app:

  1. Scroll down and tap Show transaction history.
  2. Tap the Download icon (the downward arrow at the top right).
  3. Choose your desired time period.
  4. Save the PDF to your device.

My statement is password-protected. Will this tool still work?

Yes. Most Google Pay PDF statements are not password-protected by default. However, if yours is, your browser will prompt you to enter the password so it can unlock and read the data locally. Your password is never sent to us.

Why does my analyzed total look different from my bank balance?

This analyzer only reads the transactions processed through Google Pay. Any direct bank transfers, ATM withdrawals, or transactions made via other UPI apps (like PhonePe or Paytm) will not be reflected in this specific statement.

How do I delete my Google Pay transaction history?

You cannot delete transactions directly inside the Google Pay app. To delete your history, you must go to your Google Account on the web, search for "My Activity Google Pay," and delete the specific records there. Note: Since our analyzer works 100% locally on your device, you can safely use this tool to review your spending before you decide to permanently delete your history online.

Can I use a regular bank statement PDF with this tool?

Currently, this specific tool is designed exclusively for Google Pay export files. A traditional bank statement PDF downloaded from your bank's application (like HDFC, ICICI, or SBI) uses a completely different tabular format and will not parse correctly here.

How do I get my bank statement online vs my GPay statement?

To download a bank statement online, you must log into your specific bank's net banking portal or use their official bank statement application. However, to get a Google Pay statement, you don't need your bank login—just open the GPay app, tap "Show transaction history," and download the PDF directly to your device.

Our google pay business csv report spending analysis tool does it all automatically.

What is the difference between GPay personal PDF and Google Pay for Business CSV?

GPay personal PDF — downloaded from the Google Pay consumer app. Shows your personal UPI payments and receipts as a PDF statement. Google Pay for Business CSV — exported from the merchant app used by shop owners and freelancers. Shows customer payments received at your business as a spreadsheet. This tool supports both — upload either file above.

Is Google Pay for Business free?

Yes, Google Pay for Business is free to download and use. There are no monthly subscription fees for merchants. Most UPI peer-to-merchant payments have zero MDR (Merchant Discount Rate). This GPay business CSV analyzer is also completely free — no sign-up, no limits, no fees.

Can I use my GPay statement for ITR income tax filing?

Yes. Your Google Pay statement for ITR is a useful reference when filing income tax returns. It shows all UPI money received (which may count as income) and money sent. Use this free analyzer to filter transactions by the April–March financial year, see total income received, and cross-verify your UPI activity before submitting your ITR. Note: for official submission, always rely on your bank's official statement.

Why this tool

Why use this Google Pay statement analyzer?

The problem with manual Google Pay analysis

Most Indian UPI users have no idea where their money actually goes each month. Google Pay's in-app history shows individual transactions but offers no spending breakdown, no category totals, and no trends. Exporting as a PDF gives you a wall of text — unusable without a dedicated parser. This tool solves that in under 30 seconds.

How this analyzer works — 100% in your browser

This tool uses the browser's built-in PDF.js engine to parse your GPay statement locally on your device. No file is ever sent to a server. Google Pay transactions are structured in a consistent format, which allows the parser to extract dates, amounts, and payee names with high accuracy. The entire analysis — charts, totals, transaction list — runs in JavaScript in your browser tab.

The only free tool supporting both GPay personal PDF and Business CSV

Personal Google Pay users download a PDF statement from the consumer app. Merchants using Google Pay for Business export a CSV from the merchant dashboard. These are entirely different file formats — yet this tool handles both in the same interface, with unified charting and an Excel export feature. No competitor currently offers both in a single free tool.

How to use your GPay statement for ITR income tax filing

The Income Tax Department of India has increased scrutiny of large UPI receipts. Your GPay statement can serve as supporting evidence for income and expense declarations in your ITR. Use this tool to filter by the April–March financial year, identify total money received (potential income), and export the categorized breakdown to Excel for your CA or for self-filing reference. Note: for official submission, always rely on your bank's official statement.

What you can do with this tool

Supports GPay personal PDFs (up to 1 year of transactions), Google Pay for Business CSV exports, date range filtering, payee name search, daily trend charting, and a full sortable transaction list. The Export Report feature lets you tag each transaction (Income / Expense / Allowance / Investment / Ignore) and download a color-coded Excel workbook with Summary, Daily, and Monthly sheets — suitable for budgeting, ITR prep, or sharing with a financial advisor. NPCI, which operates UPI in India, processes over 18 billion UPI transactions per month — this free tool helps you understand your share of that spending.
