Privacy Policy

Inkomiq only collects data that you explicitly provide. Nothing is collected in the background.

If you sign in with Google:

• Your Google account display name
• Your Google account email address
• A unique user ID assigned by Firebase Authentication

If you use Guest mode (no sign-in):

• An anonymous ID generated locally — no name or email is ever collected

Financial data you enter:

• Monthly income amount
• Budget limits for Expenses, Allowances, and Investments
• Transaction records: amount, type, description/label, and timestamp
• Whether a transaction is marked as recurring

Activity logs (Transaction Footprints):

• A log of when transactions were added, edited, or deleted — visible only to you

We never collect any of the following — by design:

Your data is used only to make the app work for you:

• To display your income, budgets, and transactions within the app
• To calculate and show breakdowns, charts, and budget usage percentages
• To sync your data across devices when signed in with Google
• To show Transaction Footprints so you can audit your own changes

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, AI training, or any commercial purpose.

All data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database by Google LLC. Your data is stored under your unique user ID. Only you can access your own data when authenticated.

Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. For details, see firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data may be stored on servers outside India, including in the United States, in accordance with Firebase's infrastructure.

Inkomiq uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) to authenticate users. When you sign in, Google shares your display name and email address with us. We use this only to identify your account in Firebase.

We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Pay, or any other Google service. The access scope is limited to basic profile information only.

Google's handling of your sign-in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party, advertiser, or analytics provider.

The only external service that handles your data is Google Firebase for storage and authentication, as described in sections 05 and 06.

Your data is retained in Firebase for as long as your account exists. Guest mode data persists until you clear your browser's local storage or request deletion.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time — see section 09 below.

You have the right to request deletion of all your Inkomiq data at any time:

We will delete all your data from Firebase within 7 business days and confirm via email.

Inkomiq is intended for adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Inkomiq after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
